We had an absolute blast at Allan Gardens Children's Conservatory on April 30, 2023. Returning to this beautiful space this year, after 4 years away, was so special. It's where we host local children and youth to plant their long-season crops for their school gardens. Many thanks to our sponsors and to the Friends of Allan Gardens, and to everyone who came and joined the fun. David Celia and friends rocked the house for a solid 2.5 hours, until we had to interrupt and call the Silent Auction to a close!
......Sound on!!
Food was provided by Daniel et Daniel, Karma Co-op and CaterToronto. It was all so yummy!
Board member Tara Marina Pearson had a steady stream of pea shoot planters
Plant sale was great, even in the pouring rain
Cheryl painted so many faces she did not stand up for 3 hours
A highlight was a presentation by Paul Zwarts, aka SoilNerd, and Dorte Windmuller - folks involved in the Soil Food Web school led by Dr. Elaine Ingham.
Thanks to our sponsors, the event was not only totally fun but made about $2,800!
hosting Landscape.Jobs
